Reserve Our Facilities For Your Next Event

As you can see below we have been blessed with some amazing facilities that we don’t mind sharing with you for Weddings or other special occasions we just have a few simple rules that will be listed below with a few fees to help maintain our facilities. WEDDING CHARGES FOR NON-MEMBERS AND MEMBERS

CUSTODIAN – $150.00

SOUND AND AUDIO — $150.00

CHURCH – $1,500.00

ACTIVITY BUILDING – $500.00

Wedding Guidelines — Non-Church Members

The facilities of Hopewell Baptist Church shall be used only in the manner of which is in ordinance with the worship of God. The use of the sanctuary, restrooms, dressing rooms and social hall must be reserved 30 days in advance. Likewise all reservation fees must be paid 30 days in advance. The use or church facilities shall be governed by Hopewell Constitution and By-Law’s. The fee to reserve the church if you are not a member is $1,800.00. This fee will cover the cost of unlocking and locking the church, custodial services, light clean up after the wedding and someone to run the Audio and Video System. The fee to reserve the Activity Building is $500.00. Social Hall not to be used by Non-Members

The following rules apply for members and non-members:

  • All applications will be at the discretion of the deacons.
  • Building to be left orderly with no trash left in building.
  • Failure to pay fees result in cancellation of dates reserved.
  • Only mechanical candies or candles in glass containers can be used.
  • The use of clear tape will be permitted but must be removed.
  • If the kitchen is used it must be cleaned before you leave.
  • Children will not be allowed to run unattended in the church.
  • If choir chair’s, pulpit or Other furniture is removed it will be your responsibility to replace it as it originally was.
  • Nails. tacks or glue of any kind cannot be used.
  • No dancing permitted.
  • Alcohol is not permitted on church. property.
  • Food and drinks are allowed only in the social hall.
  • Church will be locked by 10:00pm.

Hopewell Baptist Church and our staff will do everything to make your wedding day as special and as stress free as possible. Our beautiful Sanctuary seats 400 plus guests. If you, family or friends are looking for a church home, we invite you to attend our worship services.

Wedding Guidelines — Church Members

The facilities of Hopewell Baptist Church shall be used only in the manner of which is in ordinance with the worship of God. The use of the sanctuary, restrooms, dressing rooms and social hall must be reserved 30 days in advance. The use of church facilities shall be governed by Hopewell Constitution and By Laws. iIf You are an active member the church can be used for family extended to grandchildren of the church member. More Distant relatives follow guidelines of Non-Members Only One Social Hall is to be reserved. It will be your responsibility to clean up or pay church custodian for cleaning up at a suggested fee of $130.00. If you choose to clean the church, you are responsible to contact the custodian to unlock and lock the church as well as light cleaning at a suggested $75.00 fee. It Will be your responsibility to arrange with The Audio/Visual Committee to operate the sound system at a suggested fee of $75.00 each.
